I have moved into a new position at my company. I was the Maintenance Supervisor for twenty five years, as my main job. I also held down the jobs of safety director, environmental director, security and phones. The last two kind of fell into the sphere of IT as they transitioned into Voip and ip cameras.

The people of America seem quick to judge on whatever is the news of the day. Journalist wanting to get the scoop write and print whatever they come up with to be the first to get the story out there. To get their name on the one story to make their career. But for the majority of readers the name of the reporter is mostly never seen, only the headline. We the readers barely finish the story before we are judging it based on our out views and beliefs. It seems the reporters nor the editors or the readers care if it is factually actual or not. Just slap your spin to it and paste it to the internet for the masses to react to.

State of the Union and upcoming Election
I watched the State of the Union last night and was not to impressed. It went pretty much as I expected it would. But I think about the upcoming election and wonder what are the Democratic runners going to run on? I mean come on the President pretty much laid out what he has done and what he is trying to do. Maybe a very little exaggeration but pretty much the facts speak for themselves. Record employment, more tax money back in the taxpayers pocket, less regulation on businesses, less people on food stamps, manufacturing jobs starting to come back, repeal of the individual mandate, and fighting to get the border wall built.
What are the Democrats running on? The only thing I have heard so far is more taxes on the wealthy. A little bit about climate change. What else? I can’t seem to recall anything that would help the American people. Oh yeah fix health care. Do you really want the Democrats putting their hands back on that? The last time they tried to fix our health care mine and most of America’s premiums doubled if not tripled. I fear the day they regain control of all three houses. But back to the 2020 election, they now want to do away with the electoral college, why? Because they know that with the majority of states controlled by right leaning Americans, we have a bigger say on who gets elected President than the east and west coast. Just because they have more people in the major cities does not mean they control who gets into the White House nor does it mean that they get control of the senate. We will see what happens next November but I would not bet on the the Democrats winning.
Is Pelosi Committing Political Suicide?
Pelosi is a Representative of a district in San Francisco. That is all she represents. She is looking small and petty with the stunt she is pulling with the SOTU. President Trump represents the United States. All of it! Most Americans have the common sense to know that walls work and that they would work on the border. At the very least we could see where our money is unlike the eight hundred billion dollars Obama got for those shovel ready jobs that never happened. Build the wall Mr President the American People are behind you. Speaker
Pelosi is acting like a woman whos lost her mind. That line she had with the ACA, we have to pass it to see what is in it. Now she says we have to open the government before we can negotiate border security. We have been there and done that. We know nothing will be done for the border. We know that the Democrats will obstruct , stall and try to shut down anything the President wants to do. They have made it abundantly clear over and over again. We, the American people are far, from the stupid ignorant people , the elitist in Washington DC think we are. We can see what is happening in DC and we will have a good memory in 2020.
Democrats Running for President
As a conservative voter I am wondering if the Democrats are losing their party. How many of the people running for President are socialist? What will they run on? More taxes of the wealthy, climate change, open borders, more regulations, roll back President Trumps changes? Can they point to the economy and say its not doing good? Will they say we need smaller government that its to bloated?

Been waiting for this for over a year. I hope it lives up to the hype! I would also like for George R.R. Martin to get off his ass and finish the book.
Well the update is not that good. I did not like the ending. The last six episodes were good but not what the hype was led us to believe. Oh well I guess I can always hope George will live long enough to finish the books.
A New Year
The year is starting out like any other, people are going about their day, some good some not so good. Its the way of life and how you choose to look at it will determine what it will be like.
A lot of people around the world will not have a choice about the direction of their lives. We still live in a world that has a lot of evil in it. In evil I mean that a lot of countries are ruled by men that don’t respect a persons right to freedom and choice. They want to control what men do so that they can make themselves more richer and powerful.
I live in a country that for the time respects freedom. Its one of our founding principles. But the government in its lack of wisdom is slowly striping those freedoms away in the guise of security, or for the betterment of the people it is suppose to serve.
But for now I am able to provide for my family and enjoy my life. I will try to do what I can to help others as the year unfolds. I will do my best to treat others as I would like to be treated. I wish everyone a happy new year and hope that its a prosperous one. Show kindness to others when you can. Have courage to change the things you can ,
serenity to accept the things you cannot change and may you have the wisdom to know the difference.

To Everyone Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
As I head into the Holidays I am reminded that not everyone celebrates Christmas, I am wondering what people do that don’t celebrate the birth of Christ. I am guilty of not always thinking of Christmas as celebrating the birth of Christ growing up, and even into my adulthood. But I guess many or most people find Christ in their own way.
For everyone out there that will be alone this Christmas please understand, your not alone, you never have been. Look around, there are many places and people that will share their time and talk to you. There are places to go and just be near others, talk or not, and Christ is always there whether you want to talk or not, your choice. Find peace within yourself and look for the good in others. You’ll find it in most people, and those that you can’t, walk on by them and leave them to their own life.
As for next year, work on things that will improve your life. Reducing the things that bring stress into your life. Weeding out the drama that others bring into your life. Also look to your own way of doing things and interacting with others. No one is perfect and don’t expect them to be this includes yourself. A bit of rambling from me but what I am trying to say is find peace with yourself, your family and friends. Don’t let others problems become yours if you can. Let the stress wash off of you and enjoy the day and give thanks.

Social Security and Your Government
VP Mike Pence on Social Security: “Everything Has to Be on the Table”.
This article describes what is wrong with our government. At it’s core our government is giving its power up to the President, judges, special interest groups and government agencies so they don’t have to make the choices needed to keep our country running. The President shouldn’t have to use Excitative Orders to get things done unless its an extreme emergency. Judges should not have the option of interpreting the law, but ruling based on what the law says as written. Government agencies should write up drafts for the houses to pass into law.

Why is it that some people feel that they have to make it a point to feel offended at everything! It seems like no one can do anything without someone thinking they have to let the whole world know that they are offended about it. The White House from what I can see of it looks just fine and I as an American am proud of the way the First Lady has done her job. Just as I am proud of the the last First Lady and the one before her. I wish people would quit getting offended at the drop of the hat and grow up.
