One side seems to be leaning towards socialism the other side seems to be just sitting back and letting the Democratic Party implode on itself. But what is really being done for the American People.

We had a bad storm with high winds come through this last Saturday the 13th of April. It blew down a tree next to the garage and I will have to cut it up for firewood this week.
We are lucky that it didn’t do any damage or take out our power line.
System Crash Last Week
Last week I noticed my web pages were down. As I started looking into it I found that the reverse proxy server had a big problem. All four pages was down and as I dug deeper into the problem I decide to redo all my pages and set up a new Virtual Server. I then looked at what I had and decided to convert my other server to a virtual server. I have my reverse proxy server up and one of my web sites up to where it was. The other three will be coming up in some form or another in the next few week as I have time to work on them.
I have installed Proxmox on both of my servers and I am using Ubuntu 18.04 for the web servers. I am setting up nginx on top of Ubuntu as my reverse proxy. Proxmox has a lot of features that I am learning. I am not sure I will stick with it or try some of the other Virtual Machines out there. I am also looking at setting up a virtual router with Pfsense. I have had it set up and played with it but right now I am not comfortable putting it into service. I am sure it will come into service soon.
Buyer Beware
Now I buy a lot of equipment on ebay. I have spent a lot of money there. I have made some good deals and for the most part almost all my purchases have been good. Most of them! I have been burned a few time but the out come was I was reimbursed for my purchases. Today someone tried to swindle me again. I found a SYNOLOGY
DS1815+ Nas drive on ebay for a good deal for a used unit. Not great mind you but still a good deal. I read this description of the item.
The Retirement Date
As the day for my retirement grows closer. I am still deciding if I want to retire or not. All my life I have had to struggle with making enough to just get by. I was always a marginal earner up until I turned fifty. At fifty I had a car note and a mortgage that was pretty large. I for sure didn’t see any way that I could retire at sixty two. But now one year from now I will be able to start drawing my social security checks.

The people of America seem quick to judge on whatever is the news of the day. Journalist wanting to get the scoop write and print whatever they come up with to be the first to get the story out there. To get their name on the one story to make their career. But for the majority of readers the name of the reporter is mostly never seen, only the headline. We the readers barely finish the story before we are judging it based on our out views and beliefs. It seems the reporters nor the editors or the readers care if it is factually actual or not. Just slap your spin to it and paste it to the internet for the masses to react to.

State of the Union and upcoming Election
I watched the State of the Union last night and was not to impressed. It went pretty much as I expected it would. But I think about the upcoming election and wonder what are the Democratic runners going to run on? I mean come on the President pretty much laid out what he has done and what he is trying to do. Maybe a very little exaggeration but pretty much the facts speak for themselves. Record employment, more tax money back in the taxpayers pocket, less regulation on businesses, less people on food stamps, manufacturing jobs starting to come back, repeal of the individual mandate, and fighting to get the border wall built.
What are the Democrats running on? The only thing I have heard so far is more taxes on the wealthy. A little bit about climate change. What else? I can’t seem to recall anything that would help the American people. Oh yeah fix health care. Do you really want the Democrats putting their hands back on that? The last time they tried to fix our health care mine and most of America’s premiums doubled if not tripled. I fear the day they regain control of all three houses. But back to the 2020 election, they now want to do away with the electoral college, why? Because they know that with the majority of states controlled by right leaning Americans, we have a bigger say on who gets elected President than the east and west coast. Just because they have more people in the major cities does not mean they control who gets into the White House nor does it mean that they get control of the senate. We will see what happens next November but I would not bet on the the Democrats winning.
Is Pelosi Committing Political Suicide?
Pelosi is a Representative of a district in San Francisco. That is all she represents. She is looking small and petty with the stunt she is pulling with the SOTU. President Trump represents the United States. All of it! Most Americans have the common sense to know that walls work and that they would work on the border. At the very least we could see where our money is unlike the eight hundred billion dollars Obama got for those shovel ready jobs that never happened. Pelosi is acting like a woman whos lost her mind. That line she had with the ACA, we have to pass it to see what is in it. Now she says we have to open the government before we can negotiate border security. We have been there and done that. We know nothing will be done for the border. We know that the Democrats will obstruct , stall and try to shut down anything the President wants to do. They have made it abundantly clear over and over again. We, the American people are far, from the stupid ignorant people , the elitist in Washington DC think we are. We can see what is happening in DC and we will have a good memory in 2020.
Democrats Running for President
As a conservative voter I am wondering if the Democrats are losing their party. How many of the people running for President are socialist? What will they run on? More taxes of the wealthy, climate change, open borders, more regulations, roll back President Trumps changes? Can they point to the economy and say its not doing good? Will they say we need smaller government that its to bloated?
