My first convertible was a 69 Firebird.

I bought it in 83 and had it until around the winter of 86. A friend of mine and I got off work and was going through downtown Dallas around 2pm. It had been one of those years where it had decided to snow and there was around 2 or 3 inches on the road. As I was going through an intersection, an older man slid into the intersection and t-boned my car on the driver’s side. He totaled it and lucky I had uninsured insurance on it. I turned around and found a 68 firebird convertible for 4k. It was in Arlington I believe.
