October 26th I took my wife into town and on the way I noticed the coolant lite come on. When we got there I noticed that I had a leak under the car when we left. We weren’t far from home so we stopped to eat and sure enough the Sol leaked a little more.

When I pulled into the garage I found it was leaking from the water pump. The next day I place the order for the pump, the thermostat and the exhaust gasket.

I had to buy gear holder for gear that turns the pump. It is on the same chain that is used for the timing. You really don’t want to mess the timing up on the car, then you have to take the whole front end off to line everything back up.

So, the adapter was lost in transit, but I didn’t know that for 2 days. On Wednesday I placed another order and I got it on Friday and started the disassembly.

Saturday, I finished around noon and started filling the car with antifreeze. It took a while to get all the air out of the system but finally it was done.
